IT Product Manager

Atrilogy’s direct client is seeking an IT Product Manager to join their team on-site in Overland Park, KS. This is a full-time, direct-hire role.

The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for working with product owners, experience designers and developers to create digital solutions and exceptional customer experiences. Own the strategy and roadmap for digital products and work closely with agile development teams to bring products to market. Key responsibilities include translating market requirements into product features, managing interdependencies with other product lanes and coordinating the release of new functionality. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in product management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter capable of managing multiple products with attention to detail.
  • Leadership, drive, passion, and charisma – ability to persuade, sell ideas and lead within the organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile practices - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred.
  • Experience with Agile PLM tools – JIRA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop high-value products and great experiences for our customers.
  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle management from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to inform and prove out new product ideas.
  • Craft hypotheses and strategic recommendations based on data from a variety of sources.
  • Present research findings to support recommendations in a concise and meaningful format to stakeholders.
  • Interpret and translate insights into business requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with Development and QA on planning and implementation of new product development activities.
  • Work with Support, Marketing and Sales to take new products from development to successful release to customers.
  • Develop strong understanding of business and digital strategy and broader customer preferences.
  • Work with the other product managers and product leadership to discuss strategy of how new products overlap and incorporate into existing product offerings.
  • Monitor and communicate product risks associated with customer value, usability, and business viability.
  • Leverage behavior tracking on digital platforms to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain understanding of current digital trends, including digital media, and marketing strategies.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
